Educating the Next Generation
As someone deeply involved in culinary education and training, Chef Kikis has valuable advice for aspiring Chefs. "Experiment. Be bold. And never be ashamed to fail. Creativity and innovation need to break boundaries; and to break boundaries you might need to fail twice or thrice," he advises. "The culinary world needs stubbornness, and patience at the same time. Travel always, listen more than you talk, and inspiration and skill will come."
For Chef Kikis, staying inspired is about engaging with the world around him. "I'm a people person. I talk to people a lot, and I listen to people a lot. I travel as much as I can, and I try as many things as I can. Life moves fast and always, inspiration is hidden in every moment," he shares.
Looking ahead, Chef Kikis is excited about future collaborations and culinary adventures. "I'm really looking forward to all collaborations with other Chefs that we have planned for the rest of the year, and to all the travels around the world and new tastes that I have yet to discover," he reveals.
