The Malta Tourism Authority has unveiled a comprehensive guidebook for high-end travel to the Maltese Islands.
The aim of the guidebook is to elevate tourism experience and to provide informative and interesting coverage about the destination, offering insight on family travel, active holidays, gastronomy, wellness, culture and much more.
The guidebook will seek to inspire tourists to enhance their itinerary in Malta and Gozo, and to experience the Islands in more depth.
The publication will be distributed both digitally and in print for the maximum outreach. It will be available at international fairs, at local high-end accommodation establishments, and at other venues that offer comfort and unforgettable experiences to their clientele around the Islands.
The book will serve as a beacon to travellers and will offer a diversified view of what Malta has to offer.
The guidebook will feature a compilation of attractions, handpicked from a selection of MTA-licensed establishments that offer exceptional experiences. Consequently, there will be articles regarding different types of travel to appeal to different ages and demographics.
Whether seeking a tranquil retreat among stunning landscapes, or whether looking for cultural exploration, the guidebook will offer all kinds of information to find what one is looking for.
The Director of VisitMalta Incentives & Meetings, Mr Christophe Berger announced that this guidebook is being distributed at a strategic time when tourism is growing from strength to strength and overcoming the 2019 success in tourism to Malta.
The guidebook shows Malta’s unwavering commitment to authentic hospitality.
The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) was formally set up by the Malta Travel and Tourism Service Act (1999). This clearly defines its role - extending it beyond that of international marketing to include a domestic, motivating, directional, co-ordinating and regulatory role. The Act strengthens the public and private partnership in tourism through greater and more direct participation by the private sector in national planning and development of the industry.
