Michele started Squeeze during the quieter days of the 2020-2021 pandemic and it all kicked off with a keen interest in promoting sustainability and healthier living. Michele’s future aspirations are set on Agricultural and Environmental Law as he believes that safeguarding our environment and ecosystems is a personal responsibility that we owe to the planet.
“Creating a business, at the end of the day, is all about turning a profit, but what if you could do some sort of good in the process too? Squeeze is all about contributing to society with health-conscious and environmentally stable solutions to Malta’s ever-growing lack of Vitamin C - which we know helps fight disease and illness,” commented Michele.
“Sustainability is our only way forward - and as we know demand controls supply; so if we, as consumers, demand more sustainable resources and products, then we should get it. Squeeze is my small contribution to reduce packaging waste and produce waste while creating a circular community.”
What is a circular community? Zummo are the pioneers of vertical juicing, creating a system where juice waste is brought to an absolute minimum, contamination is completely avoided since the citrus peel never comes in contact with the fruit and hygiene is at an absolute high with easy-to-clean functions that takes a total of 6 minutes from beginning to end.

“It’s quite humbling to see how Squeeze has grown in just a year and a half. My simple idea of accessible, plastic-free and healthy juicing solutions turned into a passion project that takes up a fair amount of my effort and a whole lot more of my thinking-time.
