PIERRE DE SEGONZAC
COGNAC XO SÉLECTION DES ANGES
“When was the last time you savoured a tot of cognac? That’s how long you’ve been missing out!”
Round and persistent, this cognac which bears the name of the part that evaporates from the barrels each year, manages to combine wood and first notes of "rancio" typical of old Cognacs from Grande Champagne. Intense first amount, aromas of fig, apricot and jasmine, quince nuts, toasted bread, chocolatey notes on the finish.
CROFT
PORT VINTAGE 1994
“A truly rare find from an exceptional window that not only is still drinking well but is considered by some critics to be entering its prime drinking window.”
Deep ruby colour with a hint of brick on the rim. Aromatic, plumy, dark chocolate nose. Smooth, luscious, ripe fruit flavours with a velvety chocolate edge. Good structure and nicely held length.
MONTEVETRINE
““A legendary Sangiovese with a character which makes a firm, undeniable statement!””
Montervertine opens on the nose with typical scents of jammy sour cherries and black cherries followed by an olfactory complexity of a Sangiovese characterised by spicy notes of star anise and cinchona without covering a pleasant hint of vanilla tobacco. On the palate, a persuasive tannicity accompanies the well-balanced relationship between savouriness and freshness.
SEÑA
“One of the earliest wines to underline the outstanding potential of Chile, still flying the flag with pride today.”
Seña, a sign to the world that Chile was able to produce world-class wines, expressing the uniqueness of the Aconcagua Valley and changing the way the world thought about Chilean wine. Seña is a unique Bordeaux-style red blend with a very Chilean soul. Its predominant variety is Cabernet Sauvignon, while Carmenere clearly ties it to Chile. Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot round out the blend.
BARONS CHAMPAGNE MILLÉSIMÉ
“Feel free to judge this fizz by its name! But don’t stop there; uncork, pour and enjoy.”
The Champagne Barons de Rothschild was born out of the encounter between one of the most famous appellations and one of the most prestigious wine-making signatures. United by their long experience in the world of great wines, the three branches of our family wished to elaborate champagne tinged with delicacy, balance and elegance. Animated by passion and boldness, the birth of a great champagne appears evident.
SASSICAIA
DOC BOLGHERI
“What can one say that hasn’t already been said about this legend! Maybe we should just let it speak for itself.”
Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are cultivated in estate-owned plots located in Castiglioncello, Aia Nuova, Cerreta, Sassicaia di Sopra, and San Martino. These parcels feature diverse and complex morphological characteristics, including calcareous soils rich in marl, as well as stones and pebbles—from which the wine takes its name—and areas of partial clay. The vineyards lie at altitudes ranging from 100 to 360 metres above sea level.
