How ProKitchen helped build a space
that brings employees together.
For GO, Malta’s leading communications
company, the creation of the new GO Campus
in Żejtun was far more than a relocation.
It
was a transformation: the development of a
modern, people-centred hub designed to bring
teams together and reflect GO’s values of collaboration,
sustainability, and innovation.
Leading this major initiative was Ian Camilleri, Senior
Manager of Facilities & Administration Operations at GO.
His role placed him at the centre of the project, from early
planning to delivering the final environment that hundreds
of GO employees now call their professional home.
“The aim was not just to build an office,” he explains. “We
wanted a campus that genuinely supports people: spaces
that help them feel connected, able to collaborate, but
also comfortable enough to focus and do their best work.”
This vision required rethinking every aspect of the
workplace, including an area that often goes unnoticed in
corporate environments but makes a tremendous impact
on employee wellbeing: the catering and kitchen facilities.
“From the outset we made sure that our catering setup
is of the same standard as the rest of the campus,” Ian
explains. “A well-designed, efficient catering area has
a huge influence on the everyday experience. It’s where
people connect throughout the day, and it deserved
thoughtful attention.”
With this in mind, GO began assessing potential partners
specialised in professional catering environments.
ProKitchen quickly emerged as a leading candidate.
“ProKitchen was already well-known in the industry, so
they naturally appeared during our supplier review,”
Ian recalls.
“What truly stood out was their practical
understanding of how catering services operate within a
corporate setting.”
From early layout studies to equipment selection,
ProKitchen became a reliable partner throughout
the process. Their strength was not just in supplying
equipment, but in translating GO’s operational needs into
a functional, future-ready design.
