Q: Tell us about your educational background and your work experience to date.

My world resonates around finance, economics, and quantitative modelling, complemented by a fervent interest in wines, hospitality, and culinary arts. I joined the hospitality sector, initially in local hotels and service provisioning firms, while advancing my studies in finance and economics. Transitioning back to culinary pursuits, I joined Chef Letizia’s venture in 2019, The Golden Fork, drawn by its culinary challenge. Immersed in the world of wines, I’ve embarked on ongoing studies to deepen my expertise, aligning my passion with my professional trajectory.

Q: What drives your passion for the industry?

My passion for the fine dining industry stems from orchestrating seamless experiences that exceed guests’ expectations. I’m driven by the opportunity to create a harmonious blend of hospitality, ambiance, and service excellence. The finesse required to curate each guest’s journey, from the moment they step through the door to the last bite of dessert, fuels my dedication. It’s immensely rewarding to witness the joy and satisfaction on our patrons’ faces,
making every effort worthwhile.

about them?

Industry professionals who’ve inspired me include Danny Meyer for his unwavering commitment to hospitality excellence and innovative business practices, Thomas Keller for his relentless pursuit of culinary perfection and attention to detail, and Ritz-Carlton’s Horst Schulze for his emphasis on creating unforgettable guest experiences through personalised service. I admire their dedication to raising industry standards, their visionary leadership, and their ability to consistently exceed expectations.

Q. What is your favourite wine at the moment and why?

My current favourite wine is the Château Margaux 2010. Its exceptional balance of rich flavours, elegant structure, and velvety texture epitomises luxury and refinement. This vintage perfectly complements our menu offerings at The Golden Fork, enhancing our guests’ dining experiences with its complexity and depth. Its timeless appeal and unparalleled quality make it a standout choice for any discerning wine enthusiast.
