ITS Student - Bachelor in International Hospitality Management (Hons) with Specialisation

Q: What interests you most about hospitality/tourism/culinary arts?
A: What captivates me most within
the hospitality industry is the world of events and music
festivals. I am deeply passionate about this field because
it embodies creativity, precision, and collaboration
in a fast paced environment. I find great fulfilment in
developing a project from its initial concept to its final
execution, witnessing every detail come together.
Although it is a demanding and competitive industry,
my enthusiasm for bringing people together through
memorable experiences drives me to continuously
challenge myself and strive for excellence.

Q: How do you find the environment and
community at ITS?
A: The environment and community at
ITS are both inspiring and supportive. Being surrounded
by individuals who share the same passion for hospitality
and events creates a motivating atmosphere that
encourages growth and creativity. The lecturers bring
valuable real-world experience into their teaching,
bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Q: What’s one personal strength you bring
to this industry?
A: One of my greatest strengths is
adaptability. Working in the events and hospitality
industry has taught me to remain composed
and solution-oriented under pressure, even when
circumstances change unexpectedly. Beyond technical
skills, I bring a strong sense of dedication and teamwork,
which allows me to connect with others and deliver
exceptional results in dynamic environments.

Q: Where do you see yourself in the industry
in the next few years?
A: In the next few years, I see myself
continuing to grow within the events and catering industry
while expanding into the international music festival
logistics sector. I want to develop my expertise in large
scale operations and strengthen my understanding of
how logistics and planning come together behind major
events. My aim is to keep building experience, take on
greater responsibility, and work on projects that challenge
me and push my career forward.

Q: If you could describe your ITS journey in three
words (or your expectations, if you’re new), what
would they be?
A: Hands-on, insightful, valuable. These
three words reflect how my time at ITS has given me
real industry experience, deeper understanding, and
the practical skills needed to grow in the hospitality and
events field.
