The Catering Centre was founded in 1988 by a group of forward looking individuals who saw an opportunity to supply and service food service equipment in the tourist resort area of St Paul’s Bay.
After evaluating the quality and service that other suppliers were providing to the catering community, it became clearly evident that a market exists for the supply of high quality catering equipment backed up by an efficient after sales service organisation.
The first showroom opened in July 1988 in St Paul’s Bay displaying a limited amount of catering equipment and refrigerated machines. The main focus of operation however shifted on repairs and service of catering equipment as it became very clear that there was a dire need to keep industrial kitchens functional.
A talented pool of technicians was carefully selected then sent out on field duty armed with a set of tools and a comprehensive stock of spare parts. This move was welcomed by the catering community and has strongly contributed to the company’s on going growth and success.
Today the servicing department is still one of the main pillars of the organization applying the highest standards of excellence in commissioning of new equipment, rapid response to repair equipment and stocking of thousands upon thousands of spare parts with swift despatch when required.
